Peace Day taken beyond the school gates
Students, teachers and community members from Maud McLeod High and Beaufort Primary gathered at the Darliston bus park in March 2026 to mark Peace Day, the Maud McLeod contingent arriving on a peace march from the school. The principal, Beverley Feare, said the school had deliberately taken the day out into the community this year, given what Darliston has been through.
